What is Rhamnan sulfate?

Rhamnan sulfate is a naturally occurring compound found in the green seaweed Monostroma nitidum. This rare, seaweed–derived polysaccharide has been studied for its potential role in supporting vascular health by interacting with the endothelial glycocalyx (EGX), the protective lining on the inside of blood vessels that helps maintain healthy circulation and vessel integrity.*

Rhamnan sulfate is also known for its antioxidant properties, which help the body manage oxidative stress and support healthy cells and tissues.* Its unique composition, not found in typical plant or animal foods, gives it distinct bioactive qualities.

Rhamnan sulfate is the key ingredient in Arterosil HP®, the gold standard for endothelial glycocalyx support.* Arterosil HP supports the structure and normal function of the endothelial glycocalyx, supporting normal circulation and a healthy heart.*
